Our Story
James Sinodinos and Ran Wang first met at Columbia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Years after graduating, they became co-workers at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where they worked with patients recovering from complex spinal surgeries, a variety of organ transplants, neurological conditions, cancer, and more.
Though their careers took them on different paths, their friendship and desire to promote optimal health and wellness kept them bonded together. They share a vision for helping people stay strong lifelong, which is why they co-founded Lifelong Strong LLC.

James
James earned his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, and also holds degrees in Biochemistry and Social Sciences from the Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, an EXOS Performance Specialist, and a Champion Performance Therapy and Training Specialist.
James has worked with players in the MLB, NFL, NHL, Division 1 baseball and soccer, marathon runners, and a slew of youth athletes. James also worked on a home-based physical therapy start-up before launching his own in-home physical therapy company in NYC. After two years, his company was acquired by Shasta Health and James now serves as a clinical advisor for them.
James currently practices at Google’s Health and Wellness Center and also serves as board member on Columbia University’s Program in Physical Therapy Alumni Board. In his free time, James enjoys every minute of time with his amazing wife and son, plays on a baseball team in Staten Island, and loves powerlifting.
Ran
Ran is a physical therapist with a deep passion for supporting healthy aging. He graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Exercise Biology and Psychology, where he developed a strong foundation in the science of movement and health. Pursuing his commitment to helping others, Ran earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University, specializing in neurorehabilitation. He went on to earn an MBA from Johns Hopkins, where he was inspired by innovative companies that shared his commitment to bettering the world.
Throughout his career, Ran has focused on working with older adults. His clinical experiences, particularly in nursing homes, medicine floors and intensive care units at Montefiore medical center, shaped his perspective on healthy aging. He gained a profound understanding of the unique challenges this population faces, recognizing how devastating the loss of strength can be to mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Ran is a lifelong weightlifter and a newly enthusiastic runner. He enjoys golfing, scuba diving, hiking, reading, biking, and cherishing time with his wife. His personal and professional experiences fuel his mission to help others age strong and vibrant, active lives.
